What is the Inclusion Library?
The Inclusion Library was brought to local communities by The Arc of Clarion and Venango Counties Inc in 2022. The library was first introduced as a partnership with the Oil City Library, to promote inclusion of everyone in their communities though library loans of items which are meant to introduce patrons to new hobbies and interests while connecting with others. Most recently, The Inclusion Library has expanded its partnership to include the Clarion Free Library through a community impact grant provided by the Clarion County United Way.
The Inclusion Library is an initiative that aims to promote inclusion and acceptance of everyone. The collections at both locations include items such as outdoor recreation equipment, sports equipment, games, and entertainment that can be borrowed by all library patrons. The items available in the Inclusion Library are carefully selected to meet the diverse needs and interests of the community. Items are regularly updated for seasonal changes and patron demands.

How can you borrow items?
Patrons can borrow items from either Inclusion Library location by using their regular library card to check out the items and then returning the item directly to the library from which it was borrowed.
